Hazak

Hazak is the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism's organization for mature adult synagogue members 55 years of age and older. The function of Hazak is to offer programming events of interest that will enlighten and entertain members of full service affiliated congregations of the United Synagogue family, such as Temple Sinai.

Hazak members have the opportunity to meet with fellow congregants from Temple Sinai and from other affiliated Conservative congregations on a monthly basis to develop a sense of fraternity and to share mutual interests including entertainment and socializing. Hazak conclaves and seminars are led by local professionals. These seminars bring Hazak's members together to share in a variety of Jewish content programs and introduce varied subjects of interest to mature adults. In addition, Hazak offers its members the opportunity to travel together and share retreats.

Hazak is not a fundraising organization. Rather, it is a membership-based group which charges nominal annual dues to cover its expenses.

For more information on membership and activities, please contact Lloyd Edelstein at le2727@comcast.net or call the Temple office at (954) 987-0026. We look forward to seeing you!
