At Temple Sinai we are committed to life-long Jewish learning. We offer many options for adults to increase their level of Jewish knowledge and skills.
We offer:
- Torah Power Breakfasts — Join Rabbi Goldenholz and the Minyan Club for coffee, bagels
and discussion. Learn about theology and philosophy through
the wisdom of Maimonides. *FREE* Thursday mornings after Minyan. - Basic Judaism — Morning and evening classes in the basics of our faith.
- Prayer Points — Sunday mornings at Minyan, Hazzan Krausman shares a bit of insight about the meaning and ritual of prayer. *FREE*
- Torah Reading /Haftara reading classes
- Learn to lead services
- Scholar in Residence Program — brings a well known scholar in Judaica to teach over a weekend at Temple Sinai
- Personal Trainers — we will come to your business to set up Jewish learning for you and your staff on a variety of topics and issues.
- Special seminars on issues of Jewish interest such as holiday skills or items in the news.
- Lunch n' Learn with Rabbi Dr. Gideon M. Goldenholz — Join Rabbi Goldenholz on Tuesdays at 12:00-1:30 pm as he teaches about a variety of biblical themes. Cost: $8 Please RSVP to the Temple office so we can make sure there is enough food.
- Downtown Hollywood Lunch & Learn — Join Rabbi Goldenholz at noon the last Thursday of each
month, starting October 30th at the offices of Hochsztein & Harrison-Jolly and Caryn Grainer (1930 Harrison Street, Suite 503 • Hollywood, Florida 33020 • (954) 925-0833).
